Stuart
Whatley, owner of Edinbane Pottery, grew up on the remote island of Pabay,
off the coast of Skye, inhabited only by his family, farmstock and abundant
wildlife.
It instilled a deep love of nature and the images seen and
felt have found their way into his work.
Stuart returned to Skye in 1971 after Art College, and began the workshop which is now a thriving and highly
respected pottery.
Stuart
now works with his wife Julie.
Your
visit to Skye will be incomplete without a visit to Edinbane Pottery. You can see the craftsmen at work, browse the
wide variety of pottery for sale in the
showroom, and take away a unique reminder of Skye.
